The theme of the matchup was Orchestra/Symphony tracks incorporated into a Punjabi mix.
Both DJs were assigned the song Gonna Fly Now (Rocky Theme) - Bill Conti, linked below:

DJ1, this had me hype. The transitions were phenomenal and I loved the fast pace of the dhol to keep making the track gun harder and harder. Song choice was lit too, I’m definitely going to be bumping this in the car. Great sampling and well mixed overall.
DJ2, there were a lot of technical errors. The concept of this mix was actually really cool if it were executed properly. For one, none of the tracks were pitched in key and the beginning was very dissonant, made it borderline unbearable to listen to. The builds were okay, but the drops would’ve hit way harder had everything been pitch matched.
DJ1 for me on this one.

Dj 1 the song selection was bomb asf and the transition between the two worked really well! This was such a vibe definitely don't mind listening to it over and over
Dj 2 The concept was really good as mentioned above, it definitely would've been better if it was in key but overall good mixing

My vote Dj 1

DJ 1: Really cool intro. Didn’t love the Metro Boomin tag. The hit was dope - the song fit really well with the Rocky instrumental! Good work! Naag kinda came out of nowhere but it always hits lol I like how you used it with Rocky vocals.

DJ 2: Concept was cool with Rocky vocals, pitch up was interesting. I don’t think the Sidhu vocals fit well. Hit sounds quite dissonant (something sounded off key)

Both mixes had great concepts but I'm gonna have to go with DJ 1.

DJ 1 had my favorite mix so far in the ladder. Def could be cleaner in execution but as far as ideas go, I loved the song selection. Dope idea to match pata chalgea with the horns.

DJ 2 a lot of dissonance so made it hard to vibe to it.

My vote: DJ 1 - very clean mix. As GSingh mentioned, Pata Chalgea sounded so hot with the beat you had going. Absolutely loved it. I felt you had great vision and execution. It's crazy how both DJ's sampled the same motivational speech from the 2006 Rocky Balboa movie!
