These are both really beautifully done and both took significant risks in mixing in some non-traditional sounds. I vote DJ 2, I feel like the buildup to the drop was a little smoother and the execution of the drop was almost perfect.

DJ 1: Great concept! Execution especially on the drums (especially the snare) could have been cleaner.

DJ 2: Definitely the better execution of the 2, but the chord progression on the original song clashed slightly with the skrillex synths on the drop.

I vote DJ 1

This is a sick song to start with!

I felt DJ 2's effects were off-key at times and weren't mixed in as cleanly. I liked the risk you too though, so props on trying to create a new, unique sound.

My vote: DJ 1 - awesome mix. Really loved what you did with the original song, especially with keeping a focus on the vocals. Especially loved the parts after 0:55 - that other song was blended in so well.
