What does it mean to love your culture?

Ok, so my friend made a claim that has been argued a lot on here. The whole i luv my culture b/c of bhangra issue....but thats not the issue. The question that came up in my mind was so if you love your culture what does that mean? Thats such a vague statement to me. And plus, if you love something so much than why do people complain about it? So do they really love their culture, even though we can agree that there may be areas in our culture which we don't accept and want to change?

And what about people who can't learn about every aspect of their culture, are they allowed to make such a claim that they love their culture? It's not like they went out to learn another culture, they only know of their own culture, so obviously they're going to love it.

So, ya what does it mean to love your culture, and what would you guys define as "culture"? And even though this arguement has been brought up in the past I dont think its been covered in a broad aspect. So, leave the fights out and just express ur opinion.

our culture is the way of our life. the attitude, customs, etc. Us living in america and canada have a different culture than the people back in india/pakistan. when someone says they love their culture, do they love the culture that they live in? or the culture back in india/pakistan? if its the culture of india/pakistan, i believe that they are talking about their heritage not culture.
