What I'd really like, is if a someone started a new competition and said "This is not the world's premiere bhangra competition/this is our first year."

It seems like every competition is "North America's Premiere Bhangra Competition!" or "The Bhangra Event of The Year" and features "The nations top ten bhangra teams (3 of which you've never heard of)."

Really, give it a rest, no one is asking you to be the greatest show anyone has ever seen.
