...It seems apparent that she was not given appropriate psychological treatment either while she was incarcerated or after...Makes you wonder whether there were ways to prevent this from happening. The other thing that bothers me is that the article mentions another woman that simply leaves her baby wrapped in a towel at the hospital to be left to an orphanage. Even though circumstances and situations vary, this kind of irresponsibility should not exist.
