The performances for this competitions are amazing! They require so much time, dedication, and planning. I am always in awe to see how creative they have gotten as they try to incorporate the various dances of South Asia. Also, I've heard from friends that the crowd goes buck wild because everyone is supporting his/her own school and there are TONS of people in attendance.

I SO want to attend this one year.. if only I can haul my @ss to Canada during this time of year ;D

Great job to everyone that performed; I can't wait to see the videos!

That is SO FUN!!! (except the awful choice to dance to "gasolina" but I'll move past that...)

It's like in Indian movies like Mujhse Dosti Karoge where they have dance competitions between all these colleges! So cool, wish they had that here, it's nice to see all the different styles together!

York was by far the best performance I had seen in awhile .. insane bhangra and classical segments! .. I swear all 30 of their dancers were doing classical at one point
Their theme [Mario] was sickk .. big ups to the main guy that played Mario . . he was crazy
McMaster's bhangra was very clean and well done . . their girls were prolly the best in the whole competition
Carleton was sick too .. with the Fresh Prince theme
What did you guys happen to think about Western's performance?

i think it was westerns theme that threw the judges offf lol... but yo ur dance was sikkkkkk man, mad respect, AND CAN U POST THAT MIX UP???

and from york mario was the main choreo guy for their team, sick ass dancer, but luigi was NTP munda.... WOOOOOOOTTTTTTTT... but yo york had YOSHI PAGGAN, those were madddd sikkk!! but overall, i liked their performance better than waterloo's, i found it a bit more entertaining... better yet i liked UTSC's. Willy Wonka was co-captain of ntp for them

Opinder's utm 08 dance was sikk too, cant wait for 2010, utm vs. mac bhangra, both teams composed of shan e punjab munde...

York did have ALOT going on duringg the performances..their props were preeety sick too..i think they were having a few problems just in the start but they still managed to pull through. Western didnt really bring it this year but its probably because of their theme..I just wanted to knoww how did UTM and York end up having the same theme?

York's performance was so sickkk.. their bhangra segment was great. Very creative with the dancers popping out of the eggs once "broken" by the khundey.

There is so much going on at once during these performances, it's crazy. Please post more videos from SAACS 09!!

Theres just something about York's and MAC's bhangra segments that make me wanna go crazy when i see them, no idea why, and the egg thing PLUS the yoshi paggan were really sikk for york... And pooja their theme was overall Super Mario

Brap! Good on ya York , smashed it. York always brings it at the culture shows, even when they used to be at Western. This one reminds me of one from years back when they did a different video game theme in every segment, they did the bhangra section set to FIFA, BLAM!!!!! Good job York!

who else thinks YORK WAS ROBBED BIG TIME....??????...but anywho props to the shan-e bhangra guys at mac for executing an easy set..very clean...but watchout for YORK next year, cuz were cleaning house, oh yeah that is if saa decides to get legit judges and not indian tv station managers that dont know jack shit about dancee
