yea like a date, venue, who the organizing parties are, what type of monetary aid (if any) for teams that would need to fly into indy, will you have bhangra judges or just uncles/aunties judging etc etc

edit: it looks like the organizer added it to the calendar on April 16th, 2011 so I guess that's the date

That still really doesn't answer any questions. I suggest you look at other threads regarding the scrutiny that other competitions have received in the past. I looked on the website as well and was not able to find a registration packet or even a flyer. Please have a decent amount of information available so you can get the response you are looking for.

where exactly is the event taking place i.e. venue? who is hosting this event (the contact on the website is Bobby +deolentertainment= could it be???)? i have the registration form, and there is absolutely no information on it that will help... could you please provide some basic details regarding your event, because we (as a community) would love to help make it a success, but having some info to discuss with your team when planning your upcoming performances is important.

To clarify I am not the one throwing this comp. I am in no way affiliated with DEOL Ent or related to anyone holding this. I am as in the dark as y'all

I hope this competition/event flops just due to the lack of professionalism & information combined.

If you're throwing a legit competition, post more information to the public and don't just say "e-mail us to find out more" or "check out website for everything." You're trying to get US to your competition, so at least answer OUR questions & meet OUR demands PUBLICLY. Why is there a need to keep things so confidential?

Swi even linked you to a registration packet (which is available to the public.. didn't have to e-mail someone) that contains a ton of information you could use as an example.

I'm going to LOL at the teams that show up to this and then complain about how it was rigged/fights broke out/they didn't get their prize money/etc I'm sure "Deol Entertainment" is new to the scene, so I suggest you take the time reading other competition threads and seeing how they go about promoting/advertising.

haha na man more comps the better. I'm sure it'll be fine, maybe not what we're used to but as long as there is a hotel, a venue, and follow-through on promises (like prize moeny) these events should happen. Helps younger/smaller teams out a lottt
