Wuddup BTF!?!?!?!

I wanted to ask you guys a huge favor! Some of you know that I have been helping the First Lady by incorporating bhangra into her "let's move initiative" (fight against obesity and promotes healthy living) and spreading that word all around via government events! OBAMA is organizing a music event next month called South by South Lawn and I am interested in participating in the event which could be another amazing opportunity to do something for this administration before they leave. However, in order to do so, I need to be nominated by others to better my chances and hope to incorporate my team 5 Rivers Bhangra

this is a HUGE opportunity to rep the desi community and bhangra dancing---- annndddd potentially perform on the same stage with CHANCE THE RAPPER, CASHMERE CAT AND MAC MILLER----pretty sure WALE might join in on the fun since he is a dc native haha! If you guys have some time, could you nominate me by THIS SATURDAY BY 5PM, i'd appreciate this a lot!

That will depend on me getting in and what the organizers will say when I ask them about bringing dancers (how many depending on limit, stage logistics, etc). I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best!

so to my knowledge right now--- I don't have any info about that however, I should hope to have that answered in the coming weeks and then make the best decision for not only this event but other potential high profiled events! (PM me if you want to talk more about this brotha!)

Hey Guys,

Update on the event--- unfortunately I was not chosen to perform for today's event :-\ . However I want to thank the number of people all over the world who took time to nominate me along with the kind words of encouragement via text/emails/call/snaps/fcbk! Even though this opportunity did not fall through, I will still continue to push Bhangra on large-scale stages.
