Hey BTF!
I’m happy to release our competition videos from this past year. I’m super proud of the steps our team has taken this year and the dedication/enthusiasm of every member. We hope to come back stronger next year, so we really appreciate any comments/ feedback/suggestions you may have so we can keep those in mind as we begin prepping.

We were fortunate to compete 5 times this past year, in order:
· PCS-Chicago
· GOT Bhangra @ James Madison University
· East Coast Showdown @ University of Virginia
· Nachde Nashville @ Vanderbilt University -Second Place
· Bhangra Blowout 25 @ George Washington University

Here’s our most recent video from Bhangra Blowout 2018, and the other videos are linked below as well.

Blowout Mix:

Too many people to thank individually for helping us out (especially with comp day needs) and supporting us throughout the year, but big shoutouts to:
-My co-captain, Medha Narwankar, for being an awesome partner and always taking on the work that needed to get done. Excited to see where you’ll take the team next year.
-Guransh Singh (Kalerity) and Srikarran Sowrirajan (kRRn MiXeS) for making us a fire mix and always accommodating our requests. Definitely recommend working with these two for any other teams that want reliable DJ’s.
-Romesh (from Romesh Fasion) for working with us to design and get our new vardi (which we love) in time for Blowout
-Harjot Hundal (GTV) for the awesome 4K videos
-Teg Hans, Sunny Caplash, and Keshav Mantha for helping tie paghs at Blowout
-Deshmesh for tying our paghs at Nashville
-Eshaan Toteja for helping tie chaadre at Blowout
-Each competition board for putting on amazing shows
-Our awesome liaisons for dealing with our massive 40 person team and odd requests
-The judges at each competition for their helpful feedback, especially Howie, Keshav, and HK who we had multiple times.
-Our alumni for the endless support and guidance

The amount of growth you guys have displayed throughout the 2017-2018 competitive semester has been a pleasure to watch. The set design has always been one of your strong points this semester. Having judged you guys three times over the past year (GOT, Nashville, and Blowout) you guys have taken feedback and display it through your set design. From the Blowout perspective, what truly hurt you guys was the mistakes that were made. The set was there, but the execution was lacking. I think that you guys should keep the same formula in relation to set design, but train your dancers to recover better from their mistakes. It shows through not only their face, but the posture of the dancer who messed up and those around them. A lot of people including myself have never had a flawless performance. Its about dancing as if you never made a mistake to begin with and for others around you not to be affected by the mistake you made on stage. Also in terms of cleaniness that needs to be worked on as well. The strong point of collegiate bhangra has always been cleaniness and that should be the focal point for you guys next semester. Once again congratulations on quite the semester as 5 comps is no joke.

lmao! shoutout to senior year

What Howie said was on point. Couple things from the blowout set:

- The segment at 3:00 minutes, there is too much going on during the build up
- I liked the drop at 6:35
- Good use of the stage, 16 didn't look cramped
- Nice job changing the vardi ;)

Congrats on the year and best of luck next year!
