thx buddy that helped a lot. i have a loop tho that i found here on btf and added it to my mix and i didnt record it live. i have no idea what key it is in but it fits perfectly. would it matter if the dhol was in a different key to the rest of the track?
hi guys. im making a remix and i added dhols. i just wanted advice on people who know a lot about dhols. is the dhol a tuned instrument? like can it be a pitched instrument in keys? eg: dhol's that play a chord/note etc?
i dont want the dhols to interfere with what key my song is going to be...
i never thought of it like that lol i just though it was EQ'd. another example is the tumbi in notorious jatt at the start.
