Definitely, i think the only thing that could improve on this side of the ocean is more comps in a year! I seriously think what we need is US/canadian teams coming over here to perform/compete so kids can actually see what bhangra is all about. Plus that will give the UK teams to step it up a notch

Yup thats deffo true. There is no hostility between teams. You can even borrow some of their props and they are cool with it.

It was one of the best organised competitions. Because of the fewer amount of teams, the experience is more personal and close knit. Well done to the organisers again.

i know what u mean, but then why different expectations for the other stuff i mentioned?

Does having a daari make you look more authentic as a dancer? There are expectations that say for eg, the pagh should be up properly along with the turla, the chaddar should be pinned etc, Does a daari come under these expectations?
