1 year anniversary Mumbai Attacks

[Nikhil]

On this Thanksgiving day, let us thank whoever for keeping us safe, for blessing family in all places, and for making sure that brothers and sisters here, in India and in Pakistan learn from the mistakes that were made by bad people.

It's been 1 year today since we all heard this horrible news. While this forumboard is only a small place for us to reflect on a rather small part of our lives, it shows that unity can overcome hatred, if everyone is willing to sacrifice for the greater good. Our Bhangra Community is stronger than ever now, showing that all people of castes, creeds, religions are united on teams throughout the continent.

Let's remember those who lost their lives by continuing to live strong and to cherish the opportunities that unite instead of divide. You can have any political agenda or belief especially in regards to what should be done to combat terrorism internationally, but let's also respect mankind. Support Unity.

Well said Nikhil.

For those who want to see an excellent documentary about the attacks in mumbai, i suggest you watch "Terror in Mumbai", it's an HBO documentary, and it's utterly brilliant. It's chilling to see how everything unfolded, and what went down. It's narrated by Fareed Zakaria, one of the best international scholars today. It aired recently, and i luckily DVRed it, brilliant!

It was really well done I watched it last night. Did anyone hear about the dude in Chicago they caught who was apparently a scout for the locations of the attacks. Freakin crazy.
