wow man just a few days ago i also screen shotted a homepage picture put up by CNN. the article was about whether the killing of bin laden was legal or not. not once did it have any mention of sikhs, it was purely an article about legal matters the US had to consider while going out with the killing.

this was the picture that accompanied that article. as if sikhs didnt already have enough problems with being associated with bin laden, why would CNN choose this completely irrelevant photo to headline its bin laden homepage article? hmm makes no sense to me at all. they could have used ANY person reading a newspaper, but instead they use a photo of a sardar WITHOUT ANY CAPTION explaining who he might be, and it seems to be located in actual punjab.

American media is one of the biggest jokes in the world. and the best part is most people are too stupid to realize.

we're aware that the people in these photos are sikhs so it was easy for us to pinpoint the discrepancy. others won't. the spread of ignorance smh

and the scary part is that so many times we've prob been fed bs about other stories/issues/etc and we've accepted it because we don't know any better.
goes to show you really can't become dependent on a sole news source no matter how great the ratings might be
