Sup.
BDS just went.

Thought the set was hot. did a few slick things with formations, esp the transition from saaps, to saap khunde. They had some hard hitting moments as well esp the pop in the intro of jhoomer.

Prob a little too much pausing, then popping.

Biggest thing is mistakes. intro always had someone off in timing of the steps, and orange jodi stuck out: made a few too many in the early going. jumps being off, missing steps, late in formation movement.

Don't see it placing unless everyone else doesn't bring it.

ASD: Footwork got sloppy because stamina wasn’t there. Abrupt music transitions. Interesting idea to combine jhummar intro with mirza, but mirza footwork was super rushed. Great ladies, but performance left me wanting and remembering more. :(

Red girl is RIDIC! They did some good things in terms of bhangra execution i.e. khunda chaal was great with shoulders. their execution of bedi and committing to it was awesome. After jhoomer, the baitke, and then getting out of it was SICK.

Would like to see a bit more thought towards the set creation. for example, coulda milked the saap stomps some more. Tere tillon drop was set up for a BANG but it fell flat.

Biggest thing was that it seemed a tad sloppy in terms of all 8 girls hitting things perfect. such as the triple roll into chicken stomps. just a bit off for it to get HIT. Mistakes from what felt like half the team in the ending seg. that and a dip in the middle of the set in energy will hold this down.

Great improvement!! Mirza was weak

Royal
I love their intro. They came out with fire and the josh in their performance is exciting. The formations were repetitive. Move yellow and red to the front.

Loved the drops. Especially the Johal boliyan one

Killed it. Ruthless execution. Red and Yellow jodi were off the charts.

Random errors in arm timing and baitke timing. Transitions were sometimes a bit too abrupt for me. But this was a performance and set was created for 6ix very well imo..

Execution was super strong. Placing worthy.

Royal Queens was dope.

I think ASD needs to try to stick to one theme in their set. They tried to have a very hype spd nj style shikke and went onto have a few slow segments with some creative choreo, which I enjoyed more than the fast segments.

Arguably the strongest top down of the afternoon so far. Set had some really good moments, but a little front heavy. loved what they did with levels in jugni, and the khunda spins at the khunda chaal drop. freeze thing in saaps.

Strong bhangra exeuction, but energy def dipped, and mistakes started happening from Mirza onwards. Pink girl made a couple mistakes within a short time frame. girls didn't have the same level of jodi interaction as was displayed by the guys.

Could place. will depend on how it really felt live.

RVD.

Very very good. Green and yellow went HAM!

Set wise very similar to Mela. strong set with very good moments. Wish the ending wasn't so abrupt. the transition into it, and the movement into the middle and the going off step could have been set up better.

Very clean and together. Random errors but big one was with blue jodi in the ending seg.

Can see this placing for sure.

Nj waris

Came out strong, intro was sick. They might get docked for the mirza cause it wasn’t a true mirza like the other teams did. Lot of stop and go where they got into a low squat. Love the old NJ ideas in the set. Jhoomer was sick, and the drop into mela was nice!

Prediction for music placings:
1. NJ waris
2. RVD
3. Royal

NJW.

WOW. filthy set. so many cool things throughout and execution was there for sure.

Development of ideas was so good in here. the way they did the saap segment and started with 2 guys jumping til all of them were. awesome. Jhoomer scene was so good. Reminded me of a team in UK that did it too.

Excellent job
