Acapellas and Instrumentals

Anyone have any idea on how to make instrumentals and acapellas? what software do you need? if you have any feel free to post them

There's a program called Cool Edit Pro that can make acapella's and instrumentals.


For acapella's: You need to have the original song (with vocals and everything) and an instrumental too, then you invert the instrumental and line it up perfectly with the original song. You should get a decent acapella if you line it up right.


For Instrumentals: The same goes for making instrumentals except you need to get an acapella for the song and invert that then line it up with the original song and you'll get an instrumental.


You can also search up the acapella/instrumental on this site http://www.jamglue.com/ , they'll usually have it, so you don't have to go through all the trouble of making it yourself.

cool edit is now adobe audition and you can use any track-based editor (mixcraft, acid, etc)

its pretty hard to make instrumentals and acapelllas, you need both songs to be the same quailty to make it perfect to fit

but how would you do it for any bhangra songs...where its mad hard to find instrumentals and acapellas...because it is clear that some people have made remixes of songs and use them in their mixes.

you cant do it for every song. you need to find different instrumental pieces throughout the song and fit them together like a puzzle, or if you have the existing dhol samples then you can mimick it pretty well using pieces from the song, theres so many ways to go about it and it depends on how the song was created.. there is no magical secret to doing it really.. virtualdj has alot of plugins that you can buy that do this exact job.. the free ones are cack to say the least

but all n all its pointless since most punjabi instrmentals are garbage.. you can ask some of the djs on here to do it for you but iduno whod wana do that lol

YO if anything search it on limewire or anymusic search rpogram you have or even youtube :S you will find so many then you just needa convert the videos into mp3`s.

karma is when someone says "+1" to ur post...instead of them agreeing and takin up space on the forum with a pointless post they jus click +1 karma and u get a point...i guess someone likes u thats how u got 1 =P

now onto the BIGGEST mystery....what happened to the judging for the remix challenge? and/or can i help u wit organizing/keepin on track wit the next one? haha PM me if u gotta
