As far as I know, Acid has never been released for the Mac. You can bootcamp or something similar, but there is no mac-native acid application

and Acid 7 is amazing, you'd want to use that anyway

it has the same basics as acid 4, obviously. but take time and experiment and youll learn to love how powerful acid 7 is. personally, i was stuck on acid 5 for a longlong time and never bothered updating till like march. and 7 was wierd for me at first but i said fuck it and just got used to it eventually. now i love it...

but yea as far as on a mac you can get parallels (if you have an intel based mac) and load a version of windows onto it. then with that you can load acid onto it after partitioning your disk. also bootcamp works like swi said. thats ur best bet prolly

Acid is made by sony. sony only makes windows based products as they also build PCs. if you want an alternative, look for soundtrack pro. It has a very similar interface and is very powerful.
