Nice stuff bro. I enjoyed the background beat and how you beat mapped it with the original song. I really liked the tempo effect at 0:07-0:08.
Not a huge fan of just showing throwing in high hats to sound "different" - i.e. at 0:40 onwards, I was looking to hear you change things up a bit or be unique in different in a way (besides just using that snare drum beat + high hat combo). That would have been a good point to change the mix up because the lyrics going into a separate set of verses.
Of course it certainly helps that I'm a fan of the original song
Nice job overall - just try not to get too static with your mixes. From 0:15 onwards, I was looking to be "entertained" with your mix in a whole different way and you just kept things too simple for me. Stretch your mind & show us more creativity!
