I think you balanced the tracks against each other pretty well- the original song maintains most of its elements, and Bassnectar adds some good DnB/crashes and warped LFOs.
I'd be curious to see you experiment with more of the mid-range frequencies to fill the gap between the high vocals and low oscillators. I like how it sounds already, but try that out to see if you might get a fuller sound.

thanks. Yeah, ill def try to experiment more in the mid range. I honestly think it one of the harder ranges to fill up.

It's too commonly overlooked, really. People pay too much attention to the bass line and the vocal melodies are assumed to cover the rest, when they usually dont. Try not to simply amp the mid using an equalizer, because we both know that'll just stretch out the sound in that region.
Instead you can mess around with some dhol or even congo loops (integrating non-dhol loops are a toss up but very surprising at times), with only the mid isolated (with a peak filter or equalizer). Hope that helps. Post if you make edits!

yeah i know what you mean. I hate it when people just increase mids of track. Mid should be left alone cause it really just makes it sound muffled. Im prolly going to try to remove the dhol look and try some guitar/synth notes and see how that goes. Thanks for the suggestion.
