5ABI KINGS (punjabi Kings) is a clothing line.
For those of you unfamiliar with the mixtape circuit, or LRG, Wild Ones, DTA, YR, Hundreds, HUF, FAME, Supreme etc and how they started - i wont go into details for the sake of time but we flipped that platform.


at the end of the day, there are a hundred plus tee shirts out there Punjabi made and they all feed into stereotypes like 'Im with the Turban', 'SOFAKINGPUNJABI and cheap corporate knock offs like Dairy Queen flipped; Desi Queen or Bhangra Queen.


We take great pride in aligning ourselves with Los Angeles artists (many of them showing at MOCA this year), musicians you may know (DAZ of Dogg pound, Kendrick Lamar, SchoolboyQ, XV, etc etc)
this clothing brand isnt for everyone, i get that and respect that - but we got two mission statements;


one - put on and pay homage to our roots as the first Successful Private Punjabi Urban Clothing Label. We design all our own stuff, no photoshop, no stealing logos art work etc. We have collaborations comin out with the biggest names in the art/graffiti world this year and in our summer run.


two - diversity. i have over 12k people rockin skulls with turbans on them and im not countin indians. White, African American, All Asian decents, Hispanic - you name it, and i got them fitted.


Sikhs are still new to the world, watch me put on and put in work.

The skull logo is very similar to the Ed Hardy skull logo.

Also, the purple 5Abi Kings shirt seems like a play on the Sacramento Kings.

Best of luck, but I am not really seeing something new or fresh here.

I get that Homie, and i can respect your opinion. Ed Hardy use to work with Bob Roberts back in the day when we were in huggies. Ed hardy ran with a few designs and put the industry to shame two years ago with tattoo and shimery art. Bob Roberts, Jack Rudy, Baby Ray, Mister Cartoon, Mark Mahoney put out and created what Ed Hardy destroyed. Which is why the art work would appear similar. I know and have worked with Bob Roberts, Baby Ray, NORM MSK, Mister cartoon etc.


Check out some of Ed Hardys best and known Skulls attached below, compare that with the Fine line work we put in on our Skull and turban. (your going to have similarities, we are tattoo, graffiti, los angeles influenced) but we never bite. Ed hard burned a lot of bridges and pissed a lot of people off when he dropped that line and today ED Hardy is no more.


The last attachment which includes our California Purple tee (we had fun with this one, im cali born, cali raised) so we paid homage to our state, and to our bay area fam up north, Laker remix on the tag below the sac remix crown.) This t-shirt sold out in almost every size within the first initial drop. The girls tee above was a can on dry surface an then re touched in CS4 - if youve ever messed with a spray can, thats not easy to do.
