Here's my mix from the BTF remix challenge. DJ fresh unfortunately wasn't able to compete anymore because he had other work to do and didn't have enough time. ive attached the original as well. leave some feedback please

this is amazing. i thought swizzee's was legit but this is another level of clean.
i personally would have liked the vocals a little more prominent but that was pretty minor.

Great work. I wish the lyrics were more prominent, but I like the concept a lot.


I'm personally not a big fan of the heavy bass sounds at the 0:51+ mark, but that might be just me.. I don't like how the heavy "boom" sound drowns out the lyrics + the rest of the mix.


Loved the use of "Better Off Alone" toward the beginning of the mix.. that was very creatively brought in & beat mapped. I really loved the build up from 0:39-0:50 and liked that you stopped the lyrics.. showed simply parts of your mixing ability.. and then brought the original song/music lyrics back in.


Look forward to hear your future mixes in the friendly competition.
