I really dont see anything special about Bekham. US puts way too much hype into him. The only thing that he can do great is his set pieces. Its time for him to retire and step down. England has alot of potential if they step away from Bekham, Rooney is sick and so is Owen.

Seeing the fact that he has no set team, cuz he jumps from team to team, defines that not alot of people want him. He is only a crowd pleaser. He is done tho.

Its all about Italy!! Fabio Cannavaro's (Captain of Italy) last year. Bout to end it with a back to back win. Yee!

i dont know how you can say beckham should retire and owen is sick in the same sentence. owen is pretty much another beckham, except he's a striker. same goes for cannavaro, he's 36 and a non factor defensemen now. cannavaro's name is all thats left now, but guess that doesnt work for beckham eh.

well i dont consider owen as another bekham. then again, everyone has their own opinions. i feel owen's ability is comendable, he is very underated. but ya.
Cannavaro's awareness in defense is unparalleled, at least on his squad, so without him, you could say that they’d be in far worse shape. As said, everyone has their own opinions.
Bekham was great and all, but i think he is done in my perspective.

Besides Italy, I would go for Argentina. They are the underdogs. Next would be Spain.
