America Bhangra Championship (bhangra reality show)

[faysal]

I'm sure the organisers will end up starting an official thread but I caught this by chance.

American Bhangra Competition (ABC) Rough Cut Promo

[HdBrar]

That is wild. lol

[DGoraya]

wait is this real?

[Psant]

Wait what?!

[hardeep_singh]

looks like just a concept, the lady doing the interviews in the video is probably the one trying to put it together, talked to her a bit during wbbc she told me she used to do bhangra in college in punjab and has a lot of respect for it. they probably want to do something like bhangra nation and document the whole process of teams getting ready for a comp, don't know how logistically viable that is. also dont know how you could possibly have a 24 team competition. you could theoretically have it be interactive where teams are recorded and their performances are judged by tv audience and or by bhangra judges until the 24 team bracket has been trimmed down to 8 teams and then have a single comp to decide placings. could be cool or bhangra could officially jump the shark.

[Mans]

Will any team actually be able to put in the time for a reality show? I mean other reality dance shows go on for man than any old competition weekend

[sgrewal30]

Would a team really be free for 5 months to come up with that many new sets and do a reality show like this? Doesn't seem all that possible.

[nmistry2]

is this actually gonna happen I'm interested to see what this is about

[hardeep_singh]

can we just have a reality show about barua and or danny cadet and or jordan wong going to punjab and dancing with a live team?
