Hello all.


Let me try an explain the format once here.


The show will go on Television for 5 months.
The first episode will go on air 13th april... And the Finale will be in the last week of August.
Considering colleges reopen in September, it will be before that for sure.


But teams will have to come for events only THRICE.
Once for the audition
If they qualify - then for Quarters and Semis,
The thing to note is that -- Quarter and Semi Finals will be 1 event. They will travel only once for these 2 rounds.


And then if they are finalists, then of course they will come down for the Grand Finale, which will be on air - LIVE.

It will be a great opportunity for the teams, as they will be on air for quite some time. Promos, background stories, Public voting, will only add to their reputation.

...teams are limited by the number of competitions they can do whether through time commitment or financially, it may not be worth it for teams to forgo going to other competitions in the semester for multiple qualifying events to a bigger competition, even despite the publicity they may get from it.

This is a very realistic concern.

Sue -The Finalist Teams will be provided stay and travel arrangements. As far as recognition is concerned, every team will get at least 1-2 months television coverage with background stories and the works.


Yes, the progressive teams will be getting more, of course, in terms of airtime, sponsorship networking and a shot at the 11k and 7k prize money.


The primary objective of the show is to bring Bhangra to national television, and make it a mainstream entertainment genre. Providing recognition to the maximum level we can is a priority, thus.

But I have a few questions -:


1.) How long is the show?
2.) Whats the format?
3.) how many teams will qualify for quarters, semis and Finale
4.) Who are the judges?
