What do you guys prefer? I just used Norton Anti Virus for the past year and my subscription ran out. It worked well for me. But since I was too lazy to renew it, I went and downloaded the free AVG software from download.net. Is there anything better out there? Btw, I have windows vista.

There's a couple of great programs...I download/crack them...I'm currently running on a 6 year license with Norton
...but there are better programs that use less RAM. Norton is a little bitch eating up RAM all the time. I might turn to McAfee or AVG.

Norton is junk that is practically malware, it slows your system so much

Try AVG or Avast!, there are free versions of both. I am running AVG. Sulrupee, SMD.

AVG is probably one of the better up coming protecting softwares, but i always feel like Norton will always be number 1....Meistro there are some keygen that will let you chose how many years you want it to go for and give you the right key, that when typed in will say you have it for so many years..
you can also get the Norton corporate addition that never runs out..that what i use :) and it uses less ram.

i would really perfer AVG
its the best anti virus software i have used
i hate norton with a passion
it slows your comp down and it gives u too many notices and blocks too many things most of the times
hated it
AVG IS THE BEST ONE!
