This set was put together very well. Couple item moves got a bit too fruity for my taste and I wasn't about the slowdown in kaala sher (sounded forced) but besides that I'm really feeling most of these ideas/concepts. strong squad too (red girl without the chunni malfunction was my fav). Respect.

Great job!

- If the sher was live, you should get a spotlight on- assuming this was a venue mistake
- i liked all the choreo- especially the phumuniyan, jhummar intro and jhummar
- the segment right after the khunde didn't hit for me.
- a few people having timing issues throughout this set. one of the green jodi's stood out to me
- a lot more individual mistakes than i think an 8 person set should have (recovery is important too, the kato intro could have been handled a little better, but that comes with more stage experience)
- how you gonna only have one job- catch the khunde and get them off stage- and mess it up...

overall i think the choreo and energy were solid and consistent throughout the set and definitely kept me interested in this performance. i also like that you guys make your movements big, keep arms extended, and really push to be lively on stage. a lot of teams have a conservative style that looks a bit lazy- definitely doesnt apply to this team.

execution can be tightened up with fixing timing issues and minimizing individual mistakes (not as big of an issue for a 12-16 performer routine, but with 8 it should be cleaner)

vardi are sick. go 12.

congrats!

I would first like to congratulate you girls on a first place at ADZ! I have seen you guys work so hard over the last year to bring ASD back. My first recommendation before I go into specific critiques is that you girls need to pick up another four girls for your team. Having 12 dancers on stage looks a lot more pleasing and it makes the choreography a lot more impactful overall. The overall style is fine, but the discrepancy between the dancers can be seen form the beginning. You can tell that the red jodi have a lot more nakhra and energy in comparison to the other 6 dancers. I am sure that it was Harjot and Navu in the red ;). Towards the end of the set the blue jodi was barely picking up her legs. If one of the girls is dying towards the end this takes away from the performance because judges will direct their attention towards that one person. Also the individual mistakes made by the dancers is apparent when they do occur. Going forward, these mistakes should be kept to a minimum because they can cost you a placing. I can't necessarily tell you if the formations are good or not because with 8 people on stage you do not have a lot to work with, but the ideas that you have were great for a 8 person set so I'm excited to see the formations when you have more dancers. I like the saap and khunde segment the best and it's impressive that you guys did not use markers, so hats off to you guys. I am excited to see more from you girls in the future and I definitely think you guys can go far if you fix what has already been pointed out earlier in this review. Keep up the good work, and congratulations once again!!

Thank you to everyone who has given us valuable feedback on our performance! As a new team with a majority of brand new dancers, feedback from experienced dancers is exactly what we need to keep improving. We will be taking it all into consideration as we work on a new set. We just recently held tryouts and are excited to be training new girls so we will be able to go 12 man in the fall! :) Thank you once again!
