Definitely get it, i have the book. I really liked the part where he calls S. Bhagat Singh a groom and death his bride and how folk wedding songs (as they're called) or Ghordis, were sung on his barsi every year.

wow the prices are way too expensive lol damn! i got it for way cheaper, i don't remember, but it's definitely not that much. Get it from India! It is going to cost you not more than a R1000

On a not-so-related note, I just found a dissertation from UChicago: The Historical Novels of Bhai Vir Singh: Narratives of Sikh Nationhood.

Its crazy in that only 1/4 is textual analysis, and the rest is diasporic imaginary/political science stuff. PM me and I can get it to you.
