Not to stir up controversy but Saleem, didn't you perform with SMD at Masti this year? If so, expect crazy backlash after the competition if SMD places. Just sayin...

Thank you for your concern. I played chimta w/ SMD (I stopped by 1 practice to hear the mix) once; I was not a dancer or full-fledged member of the team, and I haven't participated with them or another team since.
I can assure you that I am 100% dedicated to objective, rubric-based judging, and the integrity of my judging decisions is of utmost importance to me. At the competition, I believe we will get time after the placings to meet with each team and I will give specific points of pros/cons and suggestions for improvements to every team, so that there is no doubt the judging was done rationally and by the rules (and be sure teams will get the same from the other judges).
