Bhangra At The Falls 2015 - Registration Package

Virasat Media is proud to present BHANGRA AT THE FALLS at the Queen Victoria Park on Saturday, July 25th in beautiful Niagara Falls, Ontario. BATF Committee will be selecting TEN competing teams to participate in one category.

If we have 3 or more live teams, the competition will have the Live Category and the Music Category.

The team registration deadline is on Monday, June 15th and the team lineup will be announced on Friday, June 19th. Bhangra at the Falls will be a part of an International Mela which will take place from 12pm till 9pm and the Bhangra Competition will run from 2pm till 5pm.

There is a registration fee of $200 CAD for the selected teams which in non refundable.

PRIZES

One Category: 1st Place - $3100, 2nd Place - $2100, 3rd Place - $1300

Two Categories:

Live: 1st Place - $2600, 2nd & 3rd Place will receive a Trophy.

Music: 1st Place - $2600, 2nd Place - $1800, 3rd Place - $900

Who are the judges?

Aman, BATF Committee is in the process of finalizing the judging panel for Bhangra At The Falls. Every judge we are in talks with has ample dancing experience are very knowledgeable when it comes to the Bhangra.

We are hoping to select 4 judges and their names will be released with the official team lineup on Friday, June 19th.

Next week, we will be posting up the judging rubric as well.

If any teams need an extra dancer for the competition, please let me know by PM. I just graduated so I'm free this entire summer. I live in the area and know the Buffalo/Niagara region really well. Also been in the circuit for a while (6+ years) and know most of the in's and out's too. #freeagent

The judging rubric will be posted by end of the weekend. We have been receiving several inquiries about the admission prices to watch the Competition along with the Mela.

Please be advised that Bhangra At The Falls along with the Mela is a FREE event for everyone. Feel free to bring your friends and family to beautiful Niagara Falls for a day filled with amazing entertainment.
