This is interesting stuff...I love seeing PM Manmohan Singh represent India and its awesome he is representing Punjabis and Sikhs at such a high level. Hope to see Empire tear it up for the audience.


But don't let this evening let you forget Obama is expected to announce he is sending 32,000 to 35,000 troops to begin in February or March to Afghanistan and it will cost $75 billion annually.

Obama is speaking right now on C-Span (on TV) on Afghanistan... giving a press release... I think this was from this morning... I can't see that far!!! dang....!! gotta find my specs....

no, we all have that. i don't believe the website is excluding canadian IPs. i've used the whitehouse live feed before when i'm at work...and for some reason, our IP pipe is coming from canada...yes, i work for an indian company, in america, with a canadian internet.

cnn said that they just weren't allowed access to the live feed for jennifer hudson. they REALLY wanted to see it too, they were makin fun of the "transparency" of the government

Yes. When we were initially asked to perform we were told by the White House it would not be aired on television. However, due to political differences we declined the invitation.

Pardesi, it was made clear to us we would not be able to bring any recording devices in so I'm sure Empire was not able to get any in nor would anyone else there.
