Bhangraboy's probably referring to the Big Apple Afterparty. He can technically wear anything because they probably won't be crazy strict at the door (this isn't 230 Fifth, or the Waldorf). But in New York City, you dress to impress (and also granted the word "impress" varies by what neighborhood you are in). It doesn't matter if you're going to a white tie affair or if you're going food shopping. As you're throwing a watermelon into your shopping cart, you should be dressed in nothing less than a Ralph Lauren polo shirt, and J. Crew khaki shorts. The reason why is simply that you never know who you will run into-whether it be a guy/girl you find cute, your ex (who you hope chokes on whatever she's sipping on when she sees you), your boss (which happens to me all too often), or your possible future employer.

Queens =/= Manhattan, and I'm not saying you should go out and buy a Dolce & Gabbana suit for the afterparty. But if you have a nice button down that is comfortable and can take a beating-might as well stick with that.

I am in fact going to the BAB afterparty. What i need to know is what would be better for it, dressing up or wearing jeans and a black button down?

Jeans and black button down. Roll up the sleeves a few times because you're gunna sweat like nobody's business.

Or if you're on a team you could wear your team shirt. Brings opportunity to mingle and for the "OMG I saw you perform. You were awesome" conversation.

A breakdown of Jaggi's wardrobe habits:
-All Express button downs with pagghs to match each. Rare occasion he'll have a button down from other companies-but he likes pulling the bright paggh with the matching bright shirts that he can only get from Express.
-He'll only wear a black paggh if he's going to practice. I've never seen him in a black paggh otherwise.
-If he's "going out at night with friends/afterparties," red is his color of choice. And he won't pull the matching red shirt with the paggh-he'll pull of the subtle red in the outfit look in its many forms.
-Other bright shirts he'll wear either if he's a) going out with friends during the daytime and is wearing a good pair of jeans, or b) wearing a suit on top of it for an event. In that case, red is out and blue/green is in.
