There are so many traditional/folk/modern bhangra competitions today but why aren't there dhol(any bhangra instrument) competitions around? There isn't a lack of dholis out there since every team has atleast one on their roster.
Competitions usually have 10 competing acts with one or two exhibition acts. What if it was cut to 6-7 bhangra teams and the rest of the show was a dhol competition or a singing/free style boliyan competition? I think it would be a great way to tap some raw talent out there...how would this influence the bhangra judges, crowd attraction, organizers, teams, etc?
