My name is Harsh Agarwal, I’m one of the co-directors for Steel City Sapna, a Fusion and A Cappella competition in Pittsburgh being held on January 20th, 2018! Sapna was founded with the idea that no team is too small, and anybody can dance (or sing). In that spirit, we wanted to humbly invite you to participate in Bhangra Con 1.0, being held Sapna weekend!
Bhangra Con is an open space for dancers (or anyone) of all Bhangra skill levels to come together and enjoy, create, learn, and inspire! Highlights include: Bhangra workshops, and panels for teams (check out our info packet for instructors!); a collaborative dance performance created by participants the night before Sapna; stage time on Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall, the stage of BIB and Dhirana, to showcase your choreo; Arjun headlining the show with 8 fusion and 8 a cappella teams, followed by an afterparty DJed by Dr. Srimix; and a whole lot of swag and fun!
