Bhangra Dance Competition in SAN DIEGO

[freaxs03]

Hi Dancers,

My name is Jonathan Bosco, I'm choreographer, dance teacher, filmmaker, and a event organizer in San Diego. We have a great community here. However for the longest time, we have not had a Bhangra Dance Competition. A little info about me,

I was the co-founder of Bollywood America, and judge director for 6 Years , then moved on to open up my Film Music Dance School in San Diego.

I'm looking for folks that interested in helping out in organizing an Outdoor Dance Competition in three categories
- High School
- College
- Independant
There will be a Registration Fee for both Exhibition and Competitors. The Goal is make the event Free for the public ( 10,000 in attendance ).

I want to plan this event not for myself, but for my students and other youth members to be exposed to a fantastic art and culture.

Feel free contact me at info@jonathanbosco.com

I'm thinking to host the event in June or August 2018 ( India Day ). Any advice will be greatful

I would hit up Da real Punjabiz since they are located in San Diego. They might end up competing but at least they could possibly point in the right direction for judging, etc.
