i barely have time to sleep! where am i gonna get the time to lift weights, run 2-3 miles, etc??

this thread makes me unhappy with my self-image...sigh*

Some random things that might help. A night with a few drinks of alcohol leads to muscle wasting, its degree depends on other factors but sometimes it can be pretty substantial, if anyone who wants to maintain muscle wants to drink they should not drink too much but I am sure most know this. Also If you want to lose weight and make the most of cardio, do it first thing you wake up without eating anything. Idea behind this is that the body has been asleep for a while and the carb levels are depleted so when you work out you can get to burning the body fat quicker. Kinnelbhai's advice was spot on for everything else, BME thats whats up 8)

haha ya check it out, we've been doin it for a month now, this is what we've acheived:

1. massive increase in stomach size (we're fat now)
2. shortness of breath
3. sweat a lot more than we used to
4. ending practices early to hit up mcdonalds
5. cant finish half the DDA routine becuase of all of the above

lol

damn you sunny!

Usually my days like

1. Hatha Yoga
2. Running 1-2 miles
3. Powerlifting in the morning

Then I have my assorted classes

4. Some random sport(usually basketball)
5. Calisthenics
6. Bhangra(With random bhangra episodes interspersed throughout the day)
7. The Air Alert program(Depending on the day)

Personally food-wise I try to eat 4 small meals a day, take some daily vitamins, and stay well hydrated(water, gatorade). I have started to drink tea instead of coffee to wake me up and use a lot of soy products as they are better protein. Just try to eat a wide variety of healthy food and some good ol' home cooking and thats pretty much what sets me up. Also, try dynamic stretching before each of your practices, as it is much better for you than static stretching.

haha Saab your on air alert?? that's wassup. Which one are you on? 1 2 or 3. oh he's right about that dynamic stretching
