Bhangra Down Under 2016 - Competing Teams Announcement

Hello All,


We are very pleased to announce that following teams will be competing at BDU2016. We also have kids performances, Malwai Giddha, Giddha along with legendary singer 'Pammi Bai ji' as guest artist. This is our biggest year so far as for the very first time 5 countries (Bhangra teams from Malaysia, Singapore & Australia ; Judges from America and Australia ; Guest artist from India) will come together.


Competing teams Line-up:
1. Ministry of Bhangra (MOB-SYDNEY)
2. Nachdi Shaan (NS-Sydney)
3. Canberra Bhangra Jammers (CBJ-Canberra)
4. Sadi Wakhri Ah Shaan (SWAT Singapore)
5. Gajjdi Jawani (GJ Malaysia)
6. Melbourne Bhangra Regiment (MBR-Melbourne)
7. Down To Bhangra (DTB-Sydney)
8. Oh My God Bhangra (OMG Bhangra-Sydney)


Our Judges:
1) Mariam Afzal (America)
2) Preet Chahal (America)
3) Rasna H.S (Australia)


Guest Artist:
Pammi Bai


We are also having following events:
1) 23.09.16 Press Conference (team captains, Judges, organisers and Pammi Bai)
2) 24.09.16 Team Mixer (all competing and non- competing teams are welcome)
3) 25.09.16 Main event (Bhangra Comp)
4) 25.09.16 After Party.
