Exactly. I showed their bruin 09 video to some kid I used to work with who was a raas dancer and even she went nuts over it.
Say what you want to say about Empire's style, the fact of the matter is that they were/are all damn good dancers. Sure, their style might not be best suited for Elite Eight compared to some more "traditional" teams, but they're incredibly popular for a reason, and it's not because of Ashveer's mustache (as baller as it is). The competition will still be awesome, but you could always count on Empire to come in and just do their own thing every year, which was usually a change of pace versus many of the other teams in the competition and they straight up killed it. EE 10 was just a sick set. Last year's was pretty damn awesome too. So I feel like the competition is going to end up missing something as a result of their decision not to compete.
