Many teams perform at a competitions on back-to-back weekends
It can serve as a stage run thru to get fuck-ups out the way in hopes of preventing repeat mistakes the following weekend.
Im pretty sure AEG did fever last year and then went to E8 a weekend or 2 after...also helps make the show prior (in this case) Fever a lot better as well, as the teams routine is completely drilled for both comps....hopefully this helps teams in the future get encouraged to apply to all comps of their interest despite the dates.

Panj and Pcbca have Josh on this day and elite the weekend after. It's always a good warm up

the biggest plus is that you guys have extremely minimal travel. doing two travel filled weekends back to back might be a bad idea

Sweet line-up. Isn't Rochester also on Josh Bhangre Da's line up which is on February 19th?
We had originally applied to both competitions on the same day without knowing which we were going to be accepted to. After being accepted to JBD, we immediately said yes to attend a West Coast competition (for the first time ever!). Following our acceptance it was very very difficult (being a college team that is not funded by the schoool because we hold tryouts) to find the funds to fly out West. It was then that we found out our acceptance to Fever. We explained the situation to both committees and were put on both lists. This weekend we met with our school and there was also a price drop (because of holiday traveling) and we made the difficult decision to attempt to reach for the funds to go out West (lets hope we can make the $1,500 we still need). I wish we had more time to decide but it isn't fair to teams on the waiting list.

I apologize if this caused any inconvenience for any team, however there was contact with both competitions and organizers so everyone knew what was going on. I wish Fever best of luck this competition is INCREDIBLE and I only wish it was on another weekend.

Any other questions please pm me

It is good to compete somewhere 1-2 weeks before another comp. 2 weeks is better as then you have time to make some non-trivial changes based on feedback.
