"A man of sense is never discouraged by difficulties; redoubles his industry and his diligence, he perseveres, and infallibly prevails at last"....Congrats to Raj and the entire Bhangra Idols committee, so happy to see such a successful and positive outcome

And thank you for going forward with this, it is an amazing victory for yourselves and also the entire bhangra community!
I agree with the previous posters that have expressed the fact that team members need to act like adults and behave in an appropriate manner when staying at hotels, using competition venues, and going to afterparties. I think that its the responsibility of the leadership of every team (captains, co-captains, coaches, senior members) to enforce that all members behave in an appropriate and professional manner when participating in any competitions or gigs. On Jawani, we make sure to communicate VERY clearly that no unprofessional behavior will be tolerated and will result in the inability to continue with the team in the future if any is exercised; and this over the last 7 years has resulted in our team NOT being apart of all the inappropriate behavior that occurs at some of the competitions that we have been too. I think that Bhangra Idols has definately paved that path for the end of discrimination that occurs so frequently in the bhangra community; and now its time for all the teams (enforced by their leadership) to follow in their footsteps and refrain from the nonsense (hotel trashing, venue trashing, fights between different teams, etc.) that occurs so frequently!......"We must remember that one determined person can make a significant difference, and that a small group of determined people can change the course of history"!
Congrats and thank you once again to Raj and Bhangra Idols...you guys have always treated your teams with respect and have always gone the extra mile to help and support when needed...so happy to see this! A celebration is definately needed
