Hi everybody,

This year, like in the past we had an overwhelming number of teams apply to Bhangra in the Burgh. Out of the 30 teams that applied, we were only able to select 8. The team selection process was extremely tough for us. We appreciate all the teams taking time to apply to our competition and we hope to see you applying for the next Bhangra in the Burgh. Congratulations to the selected teams.

I think you mean 3 year (BIB 2,3,4). It's a mystery...

Perhaps people graduated from VCU? It's a collegiate team, not an independent team. Rosters, choreographers and captains tend to change more often in the former than the latter. VCU has done exceptionally well under different dancers, captains and different styles in the last few years, but to accept them solely on the basis of them winning the comp in years past and not on what they could potentially bring this year (ie: tryout video) is silly.
