on a different note, i agree with pankaj im suprised they let you dance for over six minutes for a gig hahaha lucky for you guys i guessand in Cali, all gigs are usually this long if not longer. Probably since its $100 per dancer so they usually want their moneys worth haha.
youre really generalizing when you say in the east coast. We are also on the east coast, and yes gigs are around 100-120 per dancer i think it depends on which areas of the country are competitive. for example for dc md and va, you can book. jj dcbc lsd uva vcu gmu dcmpaa(did i miss someone?) so if team A has done a gig for 120(and everyone knows someone whos been to a wedding that team A has performed at) and you give them a quote for 150 theyl just look at you funny. if you find people who have no clue whats going on you can get 150 or even 200, 250 (we have gotten once) as for people throwing money, its really random sometimes nobody even makes a sound and then youl have a party where they throw money than the actual cost of the performance. Also in the dmv they usually want 8-10 minutesJ-Skeet said:Gopi D said:Lol thanks bro! Really? In the East Coast we get an average of about $150-$200 per head plus transportation. Also people love to throw money(about 1-200) in the East Coast so we get to keep that money too. The performances are about 5-6 mins too. If they want a longer performance it usually commands more money.
