I would just like to say that this competition and its commitee members were hella legit Atinder and the boys made sure all teams were taken care of at all times.

I know alot of ppl are prob like the placings were whack........I AGREE, but Masti is not to blame for this. The Toronto Federation is the biggest pile of horse$hit ever. They picked the judges for the comp. These judges were suppose to follow the rubric but decided to start making there own criteria sheet :S

I dont wanna say to much but those judges were morons and need to get off ppls tips and learn how to be professional. Some of the feedback they gave teams was garbage :S they told us we were flawless best bhangra they have seen in a while but our mix was off and romantic jatt is vulgar so we cut 11 pts :S wtf. Told PPA Sialkoti was off :S WTF........alot of teams got Bullshitted by the judges.

But all in all masti was legit its just unfortunate that they had to take the fall for toronto federations major collapse :|

One thing for the masti crew: for future comps, turn the volume up for the mic that either the tumbi or algozey player is using because the dhol will always overpower those but i dont think there was a single performance in which the algozey or tumbi could be heard AT ALL, other than when kohinoor used JUST the tumbi for mirza. NJ's algozey player is sick, but never really got to hear him other than the time paali paji got him to play at the starting before starting his sher.

Johnny can you clarify the lack of professionalism on the judges' part? Forgive my ignorance but how is TBF picking judges for Masti, that's not up to the organizers anymore? If you could clarify that would be great since you were there first hand and all

oye yaar I agree, everybody said this was to be a pure folk comp & what the judges had to say as to why teams lost points didn't make any bloody sence, Toronto Fed really is whack they picked the worst judges to keep

Bhangra Masti Committee would like to thank all the teams who took their precious time to compete at our competition this year. It was a pleasure having teams from all over North America competing under one roof. Congratulations to all the teams that placed and we look forward to having teams come back to Bhangra Masti next year. We would also like to thank all the volunteers who helped make Bhangra Masti a successful competition this year.

atinder - 1 and only thing that would be great for next year competiton would be a afterparty! lol...as thats where teams look forward to meet up and all that stuff and have fun!...it would make this competition shine even more then it is..

What did u expect, obviously the Toronto Federation was guna be the lamest thing ever created!
