Bhangra Scene in VA area (Richmond or near by)?

[streetvelocity25]

Hello,

Just wondering if there is any active bhangra teams out in Virginia, specifically the Richmond area? Might be moving to the area for grad school, but I was curious to see if there is anything.
I know VCU is there, but haven't seen any activity from them.

Anyone got any info? Please and thank you.

There's also DCMPAA and Sher-e Punjab but they're located in Northern Virginia and DC which is about an hour to 90 mins north (depending on traffic) of Richmond. Majority of the universities in Northern Virginia and DC have teams as well.

There are about 900 teams in Virginia but only about 20 dancers lol
