Bhangra teams in Maryland

Hey guys,
I live in Baltimore and am looking to join/try out for a team (male or co-ed) in the area. I've heard of JJ and LSD but am unsure if they have any open slots or not. Any assistance with this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Ah, thanks. I was aware of UMD but didn't think they allowed "outsiders" on the team. UMBC on the other hand, do they even compete?

Hey!

This is our third year and each year we have had one person who wasn't a UMD student. They usually commuted from Baltimore and Columbia. UMBC isn't an active bhangra team. They perform on their campus in the fall from what I know. Definitely hit us up if you are interested! bhangraumd@gmail.com

Hey, I actually attend UMBC and dance on TPD at College Park. I would recommend you try out for College Park. UMBC is inactive for the most part...I commute from UMBC to CP every week, it's not that bad. Good luck with the search!

Johns Hopkins also has a bhangra team! Hopkins Hareepa is based in Baltimore (the only one, I believe)! Definitely email us for more info: hopkins.hareepa@gmail.com
