Hailing from Detroit, MI, Furteelay was founded in 2009 by young dancers, who love bhangra and wanted to prove they could compete against anyone. Since its humble beginnings, Furteelay has grown in experience and prowess, competing at several prestigious competitions across North America. Hailing from Chapel Hill, NC, UNC Bhangra was founded in 1996 and has proved to be Elite over the years. Chapel Hill is home to one of the largest and proudest student bodies in the country, producing not only great athletes, but also great dancers. Hailing from Washington DC, DC Bhangra Crew was founded in 2008 by female dancers who wanted to set a tone of equality on the circuit, and empower young females to dance with passion, power, and elegance. DCBC embraces the traditionality and folk style, not only maintaining a love for bhangra, but also paving the path for the younger generation of female dancers. DCBC is coming to Big 10 ready to show everyone how folk girls dance. #folkgurlz #folkisfolk

Hailing from New York, NY, Virsa FolkStars was founded in 2009 by young dancers under the influence of their senior team, Virsa: Our Tradition. Virsa FolkStars embodies the folk, traditional form of bhangra and has consistently competed and placed at competitions in both the US and Canada. Virsa Folkstars is coming to Big 10 to continue expressing the Virsa family's tradition and legacy. #brotherhood #keepitfolk #folkstars

Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, CMU Bhangra was founded in 2007 by young dancers who were inspired by the exciting and transforming scene on the circuit. CMU breathes bhangra, being home to Bhangra in the Burgh and one of the largest collegiate bhangra tryouts in the nation. CMU is coming to Big 10 ready to set the stage on fire. #DecadeOfBhangra #ChakDeCMU

Duniya De Rang was founded in 2016 by a collaboration of dancers from across the North American circuit hoping to shed light on this cultural dance form in a unique way. Duniya De Rang is coming to Big 10 ready to showcase their premier performance in a way nobody will expect. #DDR #LevelUp

Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, First Class Bhangra was founded in 2009 by dancers who began performing at local Pittsburgh events, and grew into a full competitive team. FCB has performed at 32 competitions and has placed at nearly every competition it has competed at since 2013. Cal Bhangra was founded in 2009 by passionate dancers wanting to promote awareness of the Punjabi culture at UC Berkeley. Cal has been one of the most dominant collegiate bhangra teams on the circuit, placing on several competitive platforms. Cal is coming to Big 10 to represent the West Coast and show the circuit how it’s done in Cali. #GoBears#WestCoatBestCoast

Hailing from Brampton, Ontario, Shaan Punjab Dee was founded in 2012 by dancers wanting to promote bhangra excellence and class. SPD has quickly established itself, having notable performances such as its live set at MCB 2016, and hosting the premier Bhangra in the 6ix Competition. SPD is coming to Big 10 representing Canada, ready to show the US how gabroos do it. #Bit6ix #Eh

We would like to present our tenth and final competing team at BXB!

The army that never sleeps- hailing from Boston, MA, FAUJ was founded in 2010 by veteran dancers who wanted to not only increase exposure of this Punjabi folk dance to the local Boston community, but also leave a mark on the international competitive dance circuit. "Fauj" in Hindi/Punjabi, means "army" and they are just that - an army of brothers united by their passion for bhangra. FAUJ is back! #FAUJBhangra

Hella Props to Abhishek & Riya and the rest of Big10 committee! This is such a dope lineup. Way too excited for FAUJ's return & to see SPD performing to a music set again.
