We find this post very rascist, as our fellow Black community has also contributed towards the Bhangra community. Regarding the area, the venue is at York College, where several South Asian shows have been hosted, which your and our families have attended without any such "fear" that you are implying to our visiting teams. On top of that the list of South Asian students who attend York College is countless as well. To top that, South Asian community living in Jamaica is pretty high as well. Let alone the venue, every single college has its own high security.

This is tight but way too many teams. i def would not want to sit through this entire comp. Most audience members can barely handle 12 teams as it is. Big fan of shorter shows, but anyhow good luck to everyone I'm sure it will still be fun!

wow! i hate to repeat what everyone else has already said, but there are so many amazing teams in this lineup! we're so grateful to have the opportunity to dance with all the teams listed, and im pretty pumped to get to kick it with everyone in NYC. anyone interested in going up early and staying a few extra days after the show?

Oh yeah, since I'm guessing a number of people will be driving in for the competition, will there be adequate parking in the area? and how much might we be paying for hotel parking and stuff (if that's available)?

There is a parking lot at the venue and a multilevel parking lot just across the street. I will find out how much is the parking and will post soon.

i was speaking more as a dancer who will be staying for a few days than just a guest who would stay for like the show. Appreciate it man, just wanted to know how much i should budget for that weekend ;)
