Again, this wasnt a thread aiming at what happened at Giant or taking shots at Rangla Punjab, i actually like RP, this is just a review on the whole bhangra season this year...

In my opinion, to all the bhangra lovers on BTF and ezpecially on this thread, just chill. we are on BTF to discuss our views and opinions, otherwise whta would be on BTF? Also, dont make it issue of rangla punjab vs heeray. I love both teams, u guys are one of my very few favourite teams. But still I think that the Heeray not placing first was one of the biggest upset, bcoz if you look at the Giant Bhangra Polls, vast majority voted Heeray to be first and rangla punjab had very few votes. keeping that in minds, it was biggest upset.

ummm well aside from all of that stuff....i think the upset was rooh at bhangra masti, and both nachde shokeen and rooh at PFDF thought they would place higher

Ok first of all I just keep seeing ranjit u keep bashing. These are opnions and my opinion would be an upset is anywhere vcu doesn't get first. Nothing is being blown it's btf, ppl tlake one mans word into something else. U got my number just call if u got issue don't cause ish. Okk, how exactly am I bashing anyone in my last post? I'm just stating my 'opinion' as some might say. You guys keep saying this has nothing to do with rp vs heeray, but this is the third post just from your team about the same thing. You came on talking about the whole pagh thing, called someone an asshole and threatened him. Then when I reacted you accuse me of hating?! Sorry I'm not all happy-go-lucky when my teammate is called an a-hole. And no I don't have your number but I would love to debate Giants results next time I see you and talk more about your views on traditionality and if I was 'fan21' I'm sure the mods would have caught it.

Also, these views don't have anything to do with the results of CSUN - I want more people like you guys who actually care about traditional bhangra in this area. My post on judging was intended to try to start a conversation about how teams have advanced yet competitions continue to use the same old judges who in my mind are not qualified.

Danny, I would put up our vid but the team is planning on using the set again and we don't want it out just yet.

i agree that uva shoulda been at blowout, but there is one thing we have to remember. Say UVA is in and UNC isn't (would make sense since uva beat unc at VPD), this competition is a bhangra in the burgh rematch with Rutgers taking the BOB bid and DRP in. If i was a competition organizer, unless i had no other teams to chose from, i really wouldn't want to present the same competition again in a diff city. I 110% agree that UVA should have been there but do realize why they weren't.
