Black screen in Sony Vegas Pro.

So after 2 weeks i decided to work on vegas. When I started everything went fine, but when i added a video to edit the preview screen was black. There was audio but no Video. I watched some Youtube vids to solve the problem but no result.. I upgraded by quicktime player too. Help me out.
