Need Exact Bols For Sayalkoti, Its only played One Way!! I guess Sumtims ppl get confused!! :

Actually, most of the time there is no singing during sayalkoti. Usually thats the algozey's turn to share the spotlight.

I think he means Bols (notes for the dholi) not bolis (couplets/lyrics). I actually get confused as to what the real Bols are too, havn't really gotten it down.

theres mad ways to do it buh da only one i can think of is dha dha na ge (small pause) dha dha na na
dha=open dhagga + thilli
na= thilli
ge= open dhagga
das a simple way buh then u gotta add ur own touch to it n stuff

My ustad, Garib Dass, taught me that original sialkoti taal is played like this: dhe gin na na gin na na dhe gin na dha (very fast)
but that's definitely not how i see it played by people at competitions.
