Last year's boston rubric placed a heavy emphasis on traditionality with it specifically calling for the inclusion of traditional elements such as dhaamaal and sammi from what I recall. Even then my only problem with judging last year was the tie for third place and the judges not being released. From being a particpant of Boston Bhangra every year since it's inception, I guess i'm spoiled in expecting a flawless competiton from them every year. I would agree that Boston is still one of the best competition in North America.

Just a quick informational, that if your team would like to apply early, and have the potential to pick your position in the show (only the first 5 teams to get accepted get this distinction), we would highly recommend applying immediately as registration packets are starting to flow in to us now.
