Sick lineup. I wish some of these teams would apply to AKD too lol.

is there a reason why boston doesn't change up the lineup a bit more? it seems like every year, it's the same boston teams and some other teams from the region. i guess i understand that boston teams help bring in revenue, but it seems like its the same every year.

i'll still go though, it is boston bhangra. that's enough to get people to go.

No dancer wants to get on stage and see the auditorium only half-filled. The 3 Boston teams provide not only revenue but an almost sold-out audience of near 3000 for the teams to dance to. Most competitions these days have a line-up of 8-10 teams (but more likely 7-9 teams due to a poor retention rate from teams this year), so BBC having 12 teams in the line-up somewhat accomodates for the 3 boston teams.

And compared to last year's line-up - there are 5 new teams (UVA, Jawani, SMD, NYPD, KPGD). That's a 42% change in line-up. If you consider the 3 Boston teams unchangeable, then 55% of the line-up changed from last year. While BBC has always had some serious California representation in the past (APD, Sher, BE, DRP), BE is the only team from California this year. Nonetheless, it's nice to see teams from Canada make their return.

Kiren, Kiran, Karen, Tarin, we call them all by last name to avoid confusion except there's an unusually high number of Sandhu's now to LOL

Can't wait to come back to Boston, see old friends and make new ones!!! Hopefully it doesn't rain all weekend again =(
